Oversized Rollers with Accu-Roll were mounted on a custom cart for use moving generator rotors.
A customer was in need of a moving solution to install/remove 70,000 lb. generator rotors. Hilman was able to design and engineer a solution that allowed them to move the rotors in and out safely and with ease.
We designed and installed 15 ton OT (Oversized Top) rollers onto a custom fabricated cart. The cart was designed with space to house hydraulic cylinder pumps for easy lifting. Tapered Accu-Roll was added for use on the channel track for extra guidance of moving the rotors in and out.
